Dr. Neeser is the owner of Hive Consulting Firm and has 10+ years of experience working with policy and law makers to better understand the impact, outcomes, and gaps in addressing the growing national mental health crisis. Dr. Neeser received her doctoral degree in 2020 and immediately began working with the state of New Mexico to better understand their mental health and justice system. She has been a part of the New Mexico Supreme Court Commission on Mental Health and Competency as a leader of two subcommittees, sits on the NAMI New Mexico Board, and has participated in state wide data collection. She has worked closely with law enforcement, community providers, the justice system, county and city managers, and law makers. Her passion is in educating others and making connections to create stable and lasting change that benefits an entire organization, community, and state. Finally, Dr. Neeser has worked closely with other states to clarify processes, share data, and assist in the larger discussion on mental health in the justice system. In addition to this policy work she also offers comprehensive forensic assessment.
